The X-Files season 11 books Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Barbara Hershey

Mulder and Scully will once again be seeing double when The X-Files returns.

EW has confirmed that Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose are set to reprise their roles as FBI agents Miller (Amell) and Einstein (Ambrose), a believer-and-skeptic duo who enlisted the help of the X-Files team during the 2016 revival — and got pulled into their world when an alien virus threatened to wipe out most of the population. It’s still unknown how many episodes the pair will appear in — the upcoming 10-episode season is shifting away from mythology episodes — but Ambrose had nothing but praise for her first time on set, telling EW, “It was really humbling to be on the set of this big cultural, iconic show. They were all very welcoming and lovely people to work with, and I have a lot of respect for what Chris [Carter] and they have created over the years.”

And season 11 won’t be all familiar faces: EW has also confirmed that Barbara Hershey (Once Upon a Time) is set for a recurring role. The Oscar-nominated actress will play Erika Price, described as “a powerful figure who represents a mysterious organization.” Mulder and Scully have encountered one or two of those in the past.

The X-Files will return in 2018 on Fox.
