American Vandal sneak peek: All about the ball hairs

Get a first look at Netflix's new true crime satire

What happens when someone is accused of a crime they swear they didn’t commit? It’s up to someone with a good heart — and preferably a video camera — to help prove their innocence. At least that’s the idea behind just about every true crime series that’s recently aired, along with American Vandal, a true crime satire from Netflix.

In the mockumentary series, a high schooler is expelled for drawing penises around town. But when one of his classmates sets out to prove his innocence, things get even more hilarious. EW has an exclusive sneak peek of the series, in which the two high schoolers realize a key argument in their case for innocence: Some of the drawings are missing a crucial piece. As the accused says, “I never forget the ball hairs.”
