Will & Grace fab four perform theme song with lyrics on The Tonight Show

'Get down! Will & Grace is coming to town!'

Honey, what’s this? What’s going on? What’s happening? It’s the Will & Grace theme song sung by the show’s four big stars, only this time they added lyrics.

Jimmy Fallon welcomed Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes on The Tonight Show Friday night in honor of the upcoming revival. The late-night host even got a cameo in the performance, but not in the show.

The song begins with Grace herself singing, “I’m Debra Messing as you probably know. You might remember me from the cast of the show. Grace is a character that I play. She’s an interior designer and Will’s roommate.”

She joined McCormack and their troupe of backup dancers to declare, “Get down! Will & Grace is coming to town!” But, of course, things got more amped up when Karen and “Just Jack!” hit the stage. “It’s more fun than you could ever know. Only show on NBC not set in Chicago,” Mullally sang. She also poked fun at the fact that the show already had a finale, but co-creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan told EW to basically just forget about that.

Hayes chimed to remind us that, while Will & Grace “just might be the best show in the whole universe,” the revival is “still on NBC so we can’t f—ing curse.”

So, yeah, Will & Grace is coming to town beginning Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. Though, it probably won’t feature this updated theme music.
