Ghosted: Adam Scott says new comedy has 'actual dramatic moments' too

For Ghosted costars Adam Scott and Craig Robinson, finding the balance between horror and comedy was essential to their new Fox comedy.

“You want it to be funny, but you also want the scares to actually be scary,” Scott told EW. “The characters are real, the danger feels real. There are actual dramatic moments in the show because we want these characters and the relationships to feel real.”

The actors complimented one another’s ability to think quickly with the camera rolling, with Robinson dubbing Scott the “ultimate improvisation partner.”

“When I was a kid, I’d be driving in the front seat in a car with my mom [and] I would pretend there was a camera on the hood pointing in and that we could have some banter,” says Scott. “Now, we get to drive around and have buddy comedy banter together and then run around and explosions and creatures and stuff — it’s so fun.”
