Hulu renews Runaways, Future Man

Hot off Hulu’s very successful night at the Golden Globes, the streamer has renewed freshman series Marvel’s Runaways and Future Man, EW has learned.

Runaways, which will return for a 13-episode second season, follows six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other, but who must unite against a common foe: Their parents. The season 1 finale will drop on Tuesday — check back for our postmortem with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage breaking down the season.

Future Man, meanwhile, stars Josh Hutcherson as a janitor by day, gamer by night, who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity. The show will return with 13 episodes in season 2.

Hulu scored big at the Golden Globes on Sunday, with The Handmaid’s Tale taking home top honors for best TV drama and best actress in a TV drama for Elisabeth Moss.
