Silicon Valley: Richard can't handle the pressure in season 5 trailer

Silicon Valley is down an Erlich, but it returns to the air this spring with a bigger Pied Piper — and a meaner Jian-Yang.

HBO released the first trailer for the tech comedy’s fifth season on Wednesday, and you can see the pursuit of a new internet stressing out CEO Richard (Thomas Middleditch), whose stomach betrays him as he attempts to address the new group of employees. There’s also a dead pig and a new landlord at the incubator, and Jian-Yang (Jimmy O. Yang) is kicking his old not-really-friends to the curb.

Silicon Valley season 5 kicks off Mar. 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

Update: T.J. Miller, who played the former bloviating landlord, Erlich, before exiting at the end of last season, has tweeted his praise for the Miller-free new season: “See — told you the show would better without me on it.”
