Don't forget that time Kris Jenner wanted to star in Chicago

The naming of Chicago West, the third child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is most likely an homage to West’s Illinois hometown.

But I would like to posit a different theory: This is all part of Kris Jenner’s fascination with the musical Chicago. As evidenced by the above clip from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner had dreams of playing Velma Kelly in Chicago back in 2014 and even took dance lessons in preparation.

She also did a wee bit of “All That Jazz” for daughter Kim and friend-licist Jonathan Cheban in her kitchen. And she attempts some Fosse-esque moves which come across more like Calabasas Bar Method.

The results are most def not Tony-worthy but perhaps this Broadway itch was never scratched and led to her granddaughter’s unique name. I can imagine Kris hosting a movie night over the holidays and cueing up a little Catherine Zeta-Jones-ing for the family to enjoy. I’m onto something folks. MARK MY WORDS.
