Jimmy Fallon transforms into Bob Dylan to criticize Trump

Fallon rewrote the "Times They Are a-Changin'" lyrics

Jimmy Fallon moonlighted as a Bob Dylan impersonator on Sunday’s live edition of The Tonight Show, giving the 1964 song “Times They Are a-Changin'” an update inspired by President Donald Trump.

The black-and-white video segment showed a sunglasses-clad Fallon wielding a guitar and harmonica. “Gather ’round people wherever you roam/And admit that our country don’t feel like our home,” he crooned.

This rendition of Dylan’s classic song touched on #MeToo, Time’s Up, athletes kneeling in protest of the national anthem, and fake news, the latter of which Fallon called on listeners to ignore.

“Look past what he says and look at how he acts/The ‘Fire and Fury’ is raging/For his words can hurt, but your words can fight back/New York Times, they aren’t a-failing,” sang Fallon.

Last month, Fallon gave a similarly politically-charged musical performance as James Taylor, singing about being wary of Trump’s decisions and his administration.
