Stephanie March is returning to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit!

The actress, who played fan-favorite ADA Alex Cabot in more than 90 episodes of SVU, will guest-star in an episode slated to air in April, EW has learned.

The hour, titled “Sunk Cost Fallacy,” features Benson (Mariska Hargitay) crossing paths with her old friend Cabot during the search for an abducted young woman and her daughter.

“It is a thrill to welcome Stephanie back to the SVU family, even for a short visit,” executive producer Michael Chernuchin says. “She is, and will always be, part of SVU’s DNA.”

March, whose recent credits include Odd Man Out and Nightcap, joined the long-running NBC procedural in season 2, starring as a series regular until early in season 5, when the character was supposedly killed off, but actually went into witness protection. She’s returned a number of times since, namely in seasons 11 and 13.

The character, whom EW ranked as the No. 1 SVU ADA, joins a number of other familiar faces who have returned in season 18, including Dean Winters and Sam Waterston. The news also comes on the heels of Raúl Esparza, who played ADA Barba, exiting as a series regular.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
