Parks and Rec ladies reunite for Galentine's Day 2019

Parks and Recreation went off the air four years ago this month (has it been that long?), but the ladies of Pawnee are still kicking it breakfast-style.

On Wednesday, Parks and Rec stars Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, and Rashida Jones reunited for Galentine’s Day, a day for, in the words of Leslie Knope, “ladies celebrating ladies” over breakfast. The holiday originated in a season 2 episode of the NBC sitcom and has become a real-world tradition. Plaza posted an Instagram photo of the reunion.

This seems to have become an annual tradition for the trio; last February, Plaza posted a similar photo of them together with Parks and Rec guest star Kathryn Hahn.

Jones also observed Galentine’s Day via Instagram, proclaiming that “regardless of what your current romantic status is…this day celebrates YOU and the love you share with your friends!”
