Danny DeVito says there's nothing he won't do for a laugh on It's Always Sunny

Is there anything Danny DeVito won't do for a laugh? Nope.

And that was on full display back in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's season 6 Christmas special when DeVito's Frank hides in a couch to overhear his former employees talking bad about him, only to then emerge fully naked.

"Here he comes, all greased up, looking like a halibut," cracked DeVito while rewatching the scene on PeopleTV's Couch Surfing. "There it is, butt city."

The 74-year-old actor, who can currently be seen in Dumbo, says this was "no sweat" for him, until he realized that a bunch of background actors would also be there as witnesses, recalling, "Now it dawns on me, I've got to come out of this couch naked in front of all these people—and greased."

Going butt naked and greased up is just the tip of the iceberg of what DeVito has done over his 12 seasons on the FXX comedy, and that's why he knew exactly what Couch Surfing host Lola Ogunnaike had on her mind. "Is there anything you won't do? That's what you were going to ask," he says, cutting her off. "No."

It's Always Sunny has already been renewed for a record 14th season, in which DeVito jokes they will "see if we can make it a little edgier this time."
