Hard Rock Super Bowl spot features DJ Khaled wearing Alex Rodriguez's face (seriously) while robbing Jennifer Lopez

Hard Rock's new Super Bowl commercial also featured Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull, casually holding a pineapple.

Super Bowl halftime performer Jennifer Lopez gets her bling cup stolen by DJ Khaled in a new Super Bowl commercial for Hard Rock hotels.

The commercial dubbed “The Hype” features J. Lo getting ready at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. — some 20 miles north of Miami — when a disguised Khaled propels into her room to steal her classic blinged-out drinking cup. A chase commences, featuring Mr. Worlwide Pitbull using a pineapple as a football and knocking out Khaled into a pool. When Khaled is finally apprehended, J. Lo finds out that he’s wearing a mask of her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.

“J. Lo, I love you, stop tripping!,” Khaled yells out at her toward the end of the commercial, even though he really went out of his way to steal her cup without asking. Very suspect.

Hard Rock tapped famed action movie director Michael Bay for the commercial. Unfortunately, there weren’t any explosions, although there was an appearance by Steven Van Z of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band fame.

Lopez is among the many A-listers starring in Super Bowl spots this year; click here to see the ads starring Jason Momoa, Chris Evans, Bryan Cranston, Missy Elliott, and more.
