Saturday Night Live star Ego Nwodim has received the Dionne Warwick seal of approval.

The legendary singer called the performer's impersonation of her in a sketch this weekend a "hilarious birthday gift."

"Thank you, @nbcsnl. That young lady's impression of me was very good and who knew @BrittaniWarrick had so many jobs?" Warwick tweeted Sunday. In another tweet, she praised Nwodim specifically, writing, "You are a star."

Nwodim played Warwick in the sketch and referenced the real — and hilariously direct — tweets from the singer that have gotten traction recently, including her inquiring about Chance the Rapper's stage name and asking to message Snoop Dogg.

In the bit, Warwick had a talk show where she interviewed celebrities like Harry Styles (played by host Timothée Chalamet), Billie Eilish (Melissa Villaseñor), and Timothée Chalamet (Chloe Fineman), only to mess up their names ("William Eyelash") and ask them to help her win a beef with Wendy Williams, in a nod to Warwick's real-life feud with the TV host.

"One last question, Harry Styles," she said in the sketch. "Why is Wendy Williams being a bitch to me? She started beefing and now she's acting like she can't finish."

After Chalamet's Styles said he didn't know who that was, his host replied, "Yeah, I knew I liked your ass."

Nwodim-as-Warwick ended her talk show Oprah-style, telling her audience to look under their seats. When they found nothing, she responded, "That's right — I don't owe you anything. Thank you for watching The Dionne Warwick Talk Show. Snoop, call me, baby."

On Instagram, Nwodim said Warwick's praise has been "making her cry."

"Extremely touched by Ms. Dionne's kindness and generosity of spirit. so glad I did her proud," she added.
