Edie Falco as Leslie Abramson

At the center of the series is Leslie Abramson, the dedicated defense attorney for Erik Menendez. She's played by four-time Emmy winner Edie Falco, of The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie fame, who's sporting a perm wig in the spirit of Sarah Paulson's recent turn as Marcia Clark on American Crime Story: The People v. O.J.

Gus Halper as Erik Menendez

Erik, half of the sibling pair convicted of murdering their parents, is played by Gus Halper. He had a central role opposite Nick Jonas in the frat indie drama Goat.

Miles Gaston Villanueva as Lyle Menendez

Miles Gaston Villanueva plays the other Menendez brother, Lyle. He's made recent guest appearances in Jane the Virgin and Rosewood.

Anthony Edwards as Judge Stanley Weisberg

Playing the judge presiding over the case, Anthony Edwards was part of the original ER cast, netting a Golden Globe and four Emmy nominations during his time on the show.

Julianne Nicholson as Jill Lansing

Jill Lansing, Lyle's attorney, was considered underpraised for her work on behalf of the brother considered more difficult to defend. She's portrayed by Julianne Nicholson, who just earned raves at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her upcoming film Who We Are Now.

Josh Charles as Dr. Jerome Oziel

Josh Charles takes on Dr. Jerome Oziel, the disgraced psychologist who became unexpectedly central to the trial. Charles has had acclaimed season-long stints on In Treatment and Masters of Sex but is best known for his Emmy-nominated turn as Will Gardner on The Good Wife.

Elizabeth Reaser as Pam Bozanich

Prosecutor Pam Bozanich said only recently that she's "100 percent sure" the Menendez brothers "fabricated the abuse excuse." The always-great Elizabeth Reaser will dig into the role. Fun fact: She previously romanced costar Josh Charles (see: the previous slide) on The Good Wife.

Sam Jaeger as Les Zoeller

Parenthood fans should easily recognize Sam Jaeger, a.k.a. Joel, from his 100-plus episodes on the NBC favorite. He'll play the Beverly Hills detective in charge of investigating the murders.

Sterling Beaumon as Glenn Stevens

Glenn Stevens was Lyle's friend, the one in the car with him when he was arrested. He's played by Sterling Beaumon, who had a main role in The Killing's final season but will be most recognized for his Lost turn as Young Ben Linus.
