Dayne, who has sold over 75 million records worldwide and is known for such hits as "Tell It To My Heart," "Love Will Lead You Back," "Prove Your Love," and "I'll Always Love You," is a native New Yorker, and the most noticeable clue in her very first clue package is Popcorn's New York accent and the New York-related clues.

The first clue package also includes a snake next to a half-eaten apple and a meatloaf. This seems to refer to Dayne's song "Original Sin," which Meat Loaf recorded a cover version of. There's also a tiger seen in the package, which could refer to her often being featured in Tiger Beat magazine. Popcorn also mentions "jet-setting to exotic places with royalty," which could refer to her stint touring with Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. Also, a bus drives by with an ad for Popcorn's Broadway show, and the singer-songwriter performed on Broadway in Elton John's Aida in 2001.

The second clue package makes it even more obvious. Popcorn talks about a mysterious illness that plagued her when she was young. When Dayne was 5, she underwent ureteral reimplantation surgery. "That was unbearable, and it led to treatment that went on until I was 18," she told Closer Weekly last year. "I was battling my self-image, wanting to have a certain look. In my school, girls were bulimic or anorexic or ran 15 miles a day and ate one meal. The fears turned into panic attacks, and when I was 15, 16, I became agoraphobic. I couldn't leave the house. I had to go to a [treatment] program." Another reference to the ordeal could be the candles in the package, which are in the shape of the number 16.

Other items of note in the second batch of clues include a hair crimper, a Rubik's Cube, and a rainbow flag. The first two are solidly '80s-specific, and Dayne of course shot to fame in that decade. As for the flag, the songstress has been outspoken in her support of the LGBTQ community.

Finally, after her second performance on the show, she tells the panelists, "The second rock from the sun may be far away, but it should bring you closer to me." The second planet from the sun is Venus, and Venus is also the Roman goddess of love. As mentioned above, pretty much all of Dayne's most well-known hits have love in the title or deal with love in some way.
