Lauren Ridoff (Connie)

Lauren Ridloff as Connie - The Walking Dead _ Season 11, Episode 6
Lauren Ridloff in 'The Walking Dead' season 11. Josh Stringer/AMC

At the end of season 11, Connie wakes up in bed back in Kansas. She has a washcloth on her injured head and is surrounded by her aunt, uncle, and the farm hands. Upon closer inspection, we see that her aunt is Carol, her uncle is Virgil, and the farm hands are Daryl, Kelly, Magna, Yumiko, and Luke. They tell her that she had been sleeping fitfully and talking nonsense about "sickos." Connie smiles and tells her aunt, uncle, and the farmhands the details of her dream. Toto (Dog) jumps up and licks her hand. Then Connie gratefully exclaims, "There's no place like home!" The camera pans out to show a beautiful farm and the countryside. Fin.

Josh McDermitt (Eugene Porter)

The Walking Dead
Josh McDermitt on 'The Walking Dead'. Josh Stringer/AMC

I think it would be awesome if the ending for Eugene paid homage to some of the more iconic character endings on TWD. Like if Eugene were in a pinball machine of sorts bouncing back and forth between other character's endings. It would start with:
- Eugene takes a pill like Sasha did to kill himself as he...
- Kneels over a trough like our heroes did at Terminus when they were about to get their throats slashed open. We see a flash of Michonne's katana as it...
- Strikes Eugene in the neck and his head is partially severed like Hershel. Cut to Maggie behind a fence screaming "Noooooo!!!!!" (No Beth present, obviously, she's already dead)
- Eugene pulls himself to his feet, and stumbles away but takes a bolt through his eye like Denise. He drops to his knees again and slowly crawls to some revolving doors where...
- Eugene has his cheek ripped apart like Noah did. The revolving doors turn and free Eugene. He knows these are his last moments.
- Out of nowhere, a bat covered in barbed wire comes down on the top of his head, popping his other eye out from its socket. He's down on his back and he performs a kip-up and scissor kicks the bad person trying to kill him with the Lucille knock off. The bad guy is out cold and Eugene takes the moment to stumble to the barber's chair. He sits in it and is going to live out his final moments. The camera jumps to the other side of the door to the room he's in. We slowly pull the camera back and wait for the gunshot like we did with Andrea in season 3, but instead we...
- Cut to an exterior wide shot of the building Eugene is in. It blows up like Dr. Jenner did to the CDC. Maggie behind a (different) fence yells "Nooooooo!!!!" (Beth still isn't there).

Melissa McBride (Carol Peletier)

The Walking Dead
Gene Page/AMC

Carol floats off in a hot air balloon, out of sight. Fate unknown.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan)

Jeffrey Dean Morgan on 'The Walking Dead'
Jeffrey Dean Morgan on 'The Walking Dead'. Jace Downs/AMC

Negan professes his love for Maggie and leaves Annie behind. Maggie being Maggie, she has to tell everyone that she's gonna go on a journey by herself and find herself, when, in fact, they meet behind the barn and run off together. See you in New York!

06 of 18

Lauren Cohan (Maggie Rhee)

The Walking Dead
Lauren Cohan on 'The Walking Dead'. Josh Stringer/AMC

Maggie goes to Paris on a boat. She's sitting in a café eating croissants and thinks she's discovered a whole new world to start over… and then runs into Daryl. See you in Paris!

Michael James Shaw (Mercer)

The Walking Dead
Michael James Shaw on 'The Walking Dead'. Josh Stringer/AMC

At odds with the Commonwealth, Mercer escapes through a series of underground tunnels and finds his way to an underground military complex, Raven Rock. Within the base, he discovers a Stargate. He escapes to an alternate reality only to find the same plague has affected their world. He then goes on a quest to find a reality where man doesn't suffer the same fate: the multiverse of Sherbet.

08 of 18

Cailey Fleming (Judith Grimes)

TWD_906_GP_0705_0329_RT
Gene Page/AMC

If Judith had an alternate ending, I think that it would've been awesome to see her riding off into the sunset on a unicorn. I mean, come on! Does it get more magical than that?!

09 of 18

Laila Robins (Pamela Milton)

Laila Robins in The Walking Dead
Jace Downs/AMC

Ok, Pamela joins Daryl and Negan in their mission, whatever it may be, and they become the next Mod Squad (sort of). I think it would be a lot of fun to hang out with them. Carol can come too if she wants!

10 of 18

Cassady McClincy (Lydia)

TWD_916_GP_1109_0431_RT
Gene Page/AMC

Cut to 40 years later, Lydia lives on Mars. She found an old David Bowie record that Luke left behind and heard "Life on Mars" for the first time. She may have been illiterate until the age of 16, but she's got a secret Einstein/rocket scientist brain and found a way off of Earth… oh, and a cure for the zombie stuff! She still goes to Mars though, cause she never was a people person.

11 of 18

Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon)

Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 4
Norman Reedus as Daryl in 'The Walking Dead' season 11. Josh Stringer/AMC

Everybody dies.

Nadia Hilker (Magna)

Nadia Hilker as Magna- The Walking Dead _ Season 11, Episode 1
Josh Stringer/AMC

After we saved every being on the planet, including all the animals, Magna finally shares her biggest secret and finally reveals her two real best friends to the community! Felker (The Neverending Story) and E.T. Within days, everyone embraced them and became very loyal friends to others as well, but every now and then, jealousy arose between Magna and Carol about who E.T. and Felker's actual best friend really is. Then Magna will position herself behind Felker and E.T: making sure she's in Carol's eyeline and starts singing "U Can't Touch This" while pointing at them.

13 of 18

Eleanor Matsuura (Yumiko Okumura)

The Walking Dead
Jackson Lee Davis/AMC

Yumiko leaves behind her new law career and moves to Hawaii to open a karaoke bar on the beach. Why not?

14 of 18

Ross Marquand (Aaron)

Ross Marquand as Aaron - The Walking Dead _ Season 11, Episode 19
Jace Downs/AMC

When Jordan Woods-Robinson and I were creating the backstories for our characters, we talked about how we met, and we created a completely fictitious backstory about how we met in the Peace Corps and we traveled the world together and saw these amazing places. So I feel like there's one iteration, I think, where it would be cool if Aaron found his way to Peru somehow — a place that held a great deal of significance to him and Eric — and they found Machu Picchu. They go back there, which is incredibly difficult terrain to get to, and I feel like he would just settle there with some of his friends and set up a nice little shop there with his daughter, Gracie, and just kind live out the rest of his days in an Incan ruin. I think that would be a beautiful way for his character to end.

15 of 18

Margot Bingham (Max)

The Walking Dead
Margot Bingham on 'The Walking Dead'. Josh Stringer/AMC

Oh boy! I'd say, Max goes rogue? She becomes insanely confident with her new love from Eugene. He builds her confidence too much though, and she goes totally tribal — she's climbing trees for food, becomes this mama bear alter ego of herself, and gets an insane amount of chutzpah, hahaha. She's such a cute nerd though. That would never happen.

16 of 18

Angel Theory (Kelly)

Angel Theory as Kelly - The Walking Dead
Jace Downs/AMC

If I could write a fake ending for Kelly, I think she would go on a search for others her age and younger and help teach them to survive, fight, and become warriors and take them under her wing. Teaching the younger generation to be better and learn from the mistakes the older generations made. Be the big sister for others like Connie was for her. Maybe creating a family of her own, finding true love, and fighting everyday to live a happy life and protect the ones she loves.

It would be nice to have flashbacks of Kelly's backstory to know more about the things she endured once the world fell or have never had the opportunity to do. The experiences/plans she missed out on that she may have had to look forward to. What were Kelly and Connie's parents like?

17 of 18

Josh Hamilton (Lance Hornsby)

The Walking Dead
Jace Downs/AMC

If he had gone off into the woods, there would be a world of possibilities, right? Would he have met up with some other ragtag group and tried to put his gifts and his tools to use in building another community? I think so. I think he's someone who would've prospered. He's the kind of person that does well in certain societies. I don't know that he would've been prepared to battle the dead. He doesn't have those skills, because he's gotten kind of soft being in the Commonwealth all those years. But I think if he could have found a community, he could have talked his way into being very useful to them and could've started to build a Commonwealth annex somewhere.

Paola Lázaro (Princess)

The Walking Dead
Paola Lázaro as Princess on 'The Walking Dead'. Josh Stringer/AMC

I picture Princess getting a job as a DJ for post-apocalyptic parties and concerts. In that image, she is with Mercer and she is happy, peaceful and joyful playing her favorite music at a huge concert/party while everybody dances and enjoys themselves. Yeah, that image makes me smile.
