Don't Look Deeper
HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: Streaming on Quibi
Series Debut
Quibi's sci-fi thriller Don't Look Deeper, directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Lords of Dogtown), stars Madeline's Madeline breakout Helena Howard as Aisha, a high school senior who can't shake the feeling that something about her isn't quite right. As it happens, she's correct: She's not human. The revelation of what she really is and where she comes from sets off a series of events that puts her life in jeopardy. Also starring Don Cheadle and Emily Mortimer, Don't Look Deeper is perhaps not the best choice to relieve your anxiety (check out the nerve-jangling trailer above), but should serve as a welcome escape from our dystopian present into the only semi-dystopian future. —Tyler Aquilina
