Kering is proud to spotlight women photographers in Paris. Throughout the year, Kering, through its Women In Motion program unveiled original posters in central Paris, celebrating women photographers. Portraits and self-portraits from Women In Motion Award for Photography winners were showcased Rue du Louvre in the 1st arrondissements, reflecting the photographers’ unique perspectives and creating an exceptional open-air gallery. Women In Motion was launched by Kering in 2015 to champion gender equality in the film industry and spotlight women in filmmaking. The program now spans several artistic and cultural disciplines, including photography. In 2019, Kering partnered with Les Rencontres d’Arles, extending the Women In Motion program to the festival’s calendar. Together, they created the Women In Motion Award for photography, which aims to raise the profile of women photographers.
