Robinson Cano is returning to Yankee Stadium for the first time since becoming a Seattle Mariner on Tuesday. So as a prank, ‘The Tonight Show’ put out a cardboard cutout of the former Yankee in New York’s Bryant Park and asked Yankee fans to boo.

Of course, still a bit miffed over Cano leaving, they did so wholeheartedly. After all, it’s easy to boo someone when they’re just another baseball player who isn’t anywhere near the heckler, right?

But when Cano surprised them by coming out from behind the poster, the reactions were priceless.
