With his team at fourth and two against East Carolina, Tommy Tuberville made a call that had the potential to have weighed on him for a long time: He went for it even though his team was up by five and there were only a few minutes left in the game. Instead of getting a few security points and running off the clock more, Cincinnati fumbled and gave the ball to ECU, who scored a touchdown shortly after to take the lead.

Luckily for Tuberville, Cincinnati’s Andrew Gantz kicked a 47-yard-field goal and seconds later Terrell Hartsfield returned an ECU fumble for a touchdown and the Bearcats won.

And it seems unlikely that Tuberville will try that again.
