In light of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s most recent feats of ridiculous superhuman flexibility, I humbly submit that he be cast as Reed Richards in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

I totally understand that the new film is due out in August 2015 so filming has probably already wrapped, but since it’s come to all of our attention that Antetokounmpo can cover an entire regulation-size basketball court with (give or take) 10 steps, I think we need to go ahead and throw the entire project out and start over.

Sure, Miles Teller, who’s already cast as Mr. Fantastic, is a great actor. Loved him in Whiplash. There’s no doubt that he can deliver a compelling performance as the leader of the Fantastic Four, but I have a few questions.

Can he do this?

Or this?

Or this?

What about this?

No, 20th Century Fox. He can’t. I think we need to take the candidate that has actual superhuman ability over the one with boyish charm and a good head of hair.

Sure, Antetokounmpo’s accent is thick and it might be tough to learn the lines, but that’s what acting coaches and multiple takes are for. Think it over.
