Pete Frates — ALS patient, advocate, and founder of the Ice Bucket Challenge — decided to spend his 30th birthday at Gillette Stadium, watching the Patriots take on the Bills.
But at halftime, the Pats had something special planned for Frates: a serenade from the whole stadium.
