LeBron James on Cavaliers: 'Right now we are not very good. In every aspect of the game.'

The Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night. By 23 points. At home. To a team that came into the game with just six wins and 23 losses on the year.

The Cavs got out to a 15 point lead early in the second quarter, and then everything unraveled. They couldn’t get any momentum on offense, and it didn’t help that Brandon Jennings suddenly became half man, half heat check, scoring 25 points, 12 of which came in the third quarter, leading the Pistons on a 72-31 run over the last three quarters.

The Cavs got thumped, 103-80.

A very resigned LeBron James had this to say about the loss.

The man speaks the truth.

With Anderson Varejo out for the season, and Kyrie Irving out indefinitely with a knee injury he re-aggravated in a Christmas Day loss to the Miami Heat, things are not looking good for the Cavaliers.
