The Sixers seem pretty set on making this season unsalvageable. They keep finding newer and more inventive ways to lose, and seem to be doing everything they can to stay terrible.

Earlier this week, they cut a D-League call-up, Ronald Roberts Jr., who signed a four-year deal and was cut after just three days. They could’ve at least kept him around for entertainment value, if not just for the feel-good story. For reference, Roberts did this in warmups last week.

Yes, the worst place anyone can be in the NBA is in the middle and it’s always championship or bust, but at 2-21 the Sixers are already the worst team in the NBA. It’s safe to say that they can take their foot off of the gas on this race to the bottom.

They’re breaking their fans’ hearts.
