Former Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott says Jim Harbaugh 'needs to get in touch with reality'

Ezekiel Elliott may never wear a Buckeyes uniform again, but that doesn’t mean his feelings toward Michigan have changed.

In an interview on the Paul Finebaum Show, the NFL hopeful said that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh needs to “get in touch with reality” when it comes to the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry.

“I am tired of hearing about Coach Harbaugh,” Elliott said. “I think he has to get in check with reality because at the end of the day you can’t talk smack about a rivalry when you haven’t won a rivalry game. So I mean, you got to win ball games to be able to talk behind it.”

Ohio State beat Michigan 42-13 last season — a game where Elliott rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns.

This is far from the first time that Elliott has essentially just shouted ‘scoreboard’ at the Wolverines’ coach. Last month, he posted a reminder of his performance in that 2015 game in response to Harbaugh’s tweet about the Buckeyes.
