The Hawks eliminated the Celtics with their 104-92 win in Thursday’s Game 6, but Isaiah Thomas had a farewell message for Atlanta guard Dennis Schroder.
As time was winding down, Thomas and Schroder exchanged words. According to the Atlanta broadcast, Thomas told Schroder, “We’ll meet you in the back.”

Thomas and Schroder went at each other throughout the series. During Game 3, Thomas slapped Schroder in the face but wasn’t called for a foul.
After Thursday’s game, Schroder got into it with referee Scott Foster about Thomas, and Tiago Splitter had to push Schroder towards the tunnel.
The Hawks will face Cleveland in the second round on Monday.
