Nice guy Steve Kerr allows pause in pregame presser, tells reporters to ‘go ahead and tweet’

Steve Kerr gave the media an update on the health of Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut, who have been out with injures, during the pregame presser on Tuesday ahead of the Warriors’ game vs. the Timberwolves.

But then there was an awkward silence.

Rather than walking out, Kerr looked around, then filled the silence by saying, “Go ahead and tweet, and then, come on, once you’re ready, I’ll answer the next one.”

What a nice guy. I always have that problem when hanging out with friends, don’t you? They’re saying things to you, but there’s something really important you need to tweet in the moment. However, you can’t pay attention to the person talking and tweet at the same time, so one or the other has to be sacrificed — and usually it’s your friend, who gets super annoyed. No? Am I alone in this? All right, well it was nice of Kerr.

The Warriors are 69-8 with five games left (including Tuesday night’s matchup) in their chase for the 1995-96 Bulls’ 72-10 record.
