The Minnesota Lynx are the 2024 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Champs.
Tuesday’s Commissoner’s Cup was so sneaky good. Between both teams, there were nine players in double figures, including Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart, who had a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds. Not far behind was the tournament’s MVP, Napheesa Collier, who had 21 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. WHEW.
Although many fans likely expected the Liberty to repeat as champions, there hasn’t been a repeat winner since the Commissioner’s Cup started in 2022. That makes the Lynx’s impressive victory that much sweeter.
