The contractor will work their way starting from First Street to Grandview Drive. Traffic control plans will be put in place to close off one block at a time.

The contractor will prep the tie-ins before any water shut off is scheduled. A minimum of 48-hour notices will be given before any shut offs. The following water service tie-ins will happen between the following intersections on Green Avenue as follows:

WASHINGTON D.C. — Law and Order Committee Chair Eugenia Charles-Newton and Council Delegate Nathan Notah engaged in critical advocacy at the White House during the week of July 22.

The officials' visit to the Nation’s capital was a continuation of an advocacy push for increases to Navajo Nation and tribal Public Safety and Justice budgets.

“We’re only getting 13% of our need. We get a drop in the bucket of funding that comes down,” Charles-Newton said during a meeting with officials from the White House Domestic Policy Council, Intergovernmental Affairs, and the Office of Management and Budget.

Gov. invites Texas healthcare professionals to New Mexico

SANTA FE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced a new initiative to encourage medical professionals in Texas to consider relocating to New Mexico on Aug. 4.

The "Free to Provide" campaign includes the deployment of billboards and full-page advertisements in five major Texas newspapers to highlight New Mexico’s commitment to protecting the full spectrum of health care, including abortion access.
