Setting to disable single-key shortcuts

Hi! I am a new (and very happy) user of NetNewsWire — one thing I noticed is that I am often accidentally triggering the single-key shortcuts — especially k, because I have muscle memory from Vim that is hard to shut off.

How would you feel about including an option in Settings to disable these? If this is acceptable, I would be happy to try my hand at a patch.
