Badge Collection at Con

Collecting Your Badge at the Convention

The first thing you will need to do when arriving at the convention, other than possibly checking into your hotel, will be to collect your convention badge to let you access all the fun and frivolity.

You will need to collect your badge(s) from convention registration which is in the middle of the central SEC concourse that runs East to West. Registration is using both sides of the concourse, between entrances B & C to Hall 4 on one side, and between the entrances to Hall 2 and Hall
1 on the other.

For most people this will mean joining the queue (if there is one) on the Hall 4 side of the concourse, the entrance to the queue being close to entrance D. You will see the queue space demarcated by crowd control barriers. So, join the end of the queue and move forward, heading towards entrance C, until to you are at the head of the queue. There you will wait until a Registration Station is free, when you can leave the queue and go to that station.

If you are unable to stand in a queue, we have a low-level registration desk on the other side of the concourse, with its own waiting area which has some seating. You should wait here until this registration desk is free.

Bring ID

All members who plan to be present in any of our convention spaces should plan to bring some form of identification (preferably with a photograph). The name on the identification must match the First and Last Names in the Registration system. Questions about acceptable identification may be sent to registration@glasgow2024.org.

Purchase Ahead

You already have a ticket, so join the “Pre-registered” queue for Registration. If any members of your party do not yet have a ticket, however, you should purchase their membership or ticket BEFORE entering the badge pickup queue. Use any web browser to access our registration site to make your online purchase with a credit card. We will also have tablets available at our New Registrations desk beginning on Thursday 8th August. Please note that the Registration desk cannot accept cash or cheques.

Come In Person

In general, individuals are expected to pick up their badge in person and only for themselves. Domestic partners and carers may pick-up their partner’s/caree’s badge, but only with both that person’s identification and signed letter of consent from that person (which will be retained by Glasgow Registration Staff).

Parents may pick-up badges for child and infant ticket holders, however, it is preferred that the child be present at Registration.

Pick Up Times

Badges will be available for members starting on Wednesday 7th August, and can be picked up any day. Day tickets can only be picked up on the day for which the ticket(s) is(are) purchased.
