I wish Snape had a goatee in the movies, like he was illustrated in the book. He would have looked amazing.

Fans need to understand that not liking a female character does not automatically make you sexist.
Yes, there are mysoginistic fans out there, but most of the time people dislike a certain female character because she is a bad person or uninteresting, and would’ve still disliked her even if she had been a man.
I am glad that Hermione and Harry never got together. I always hated the trope of opposite gendered best friends having to get together, especially when the main character is a guy, and then the female best friend usually becomes a prize at the end, losing all her character development.
Besides, platonic love exists.
Some fans want a marauders prequel. Remember the marauders were bullies, Snape was their favorite victim but not their only victim, and those guys terrorized a village using Lupin’s werewolf form for laughs. I don’t think Rowling will ever agree to make a prequel about those psychos, unless it was a dark comedy or something.
Where did the fans get the idea that the marauders, a group whose name means people roam around looking to raid and attack, were social justice warriors?
James Potter is someone who strikes me as the best of friends and the worst of enemies. We know he’s amazingly loyal, kind, and generous to those in his good books, and vile to those outside them.
It’s just a pity that the vast majority of what we see him in are the memories of his worst enemy.
The pensieve memories are supposed to be accurate but they only show Snape’s story, not James’s.
It’s okay to dislike Snape, he is a fictional character after all.
But saying that his features are ugly and making fun of his poverty he grew up in, is not okay.
Real people suffer through poverty and look similar to Snape.

I don’t know who all needs to hear this, but Severus Snape is not going to date, fuck, or marry you. Nor does he care about haters (by any definition).
He CAN’T.
He’s not real!
