Back with team
GM Chris Ballard noted Friday that Ogletree is off the NFL's Commissioner Exempt List, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports. Per the report, Ogletree -- whose charges stemming from his arrest in December were dismissed last month -- is back with the Colts during offseason workouts. Prior to being placed on the Commissioner Exempt List on Dec. 30, Ogletree caught nine of his 21 targets for 147 yards and two TDs in 12 regular-season games with Indianapolis.
Practices in full Thursday
As suspected, Ogletree is back to 100 percent after he sat out of the Colts' last two games tending to a foot injury he sustained in Week 9 at Carolina. When he steps back into game action in Week 13, it will be as a member of a jumbled tight end committee, with 2021 fourth-rounder Kylen Granson being the member most likely to draw targets.
Not practicing
Ogletree missed the Colts' final game before a Week 11 bye and isn't ready for practice after the layoff. Another absence Sunday against Tampa Bay would leave more snaps for teammates Kylen Granson, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory.
Doesn't return Sunday
Ogletree was considered questionable to return to Sunday's game after sustaining a foot injury, but he was unavailable down the stretch. Whether he'll be available next Sunday against New England remains to be seen.
Questionable to return
Ogletree reverted to a reserve role Sunday with Kylen Granson back in action. However, Ogletree still made a decent play before his exit, securing one of three targets for 19 yards. If he's unavailable down the stretch, Mo Alie-Cox could see increased snaps.
Just one reception in loss
He was in the starting lineup a second consecutive game with Kylen Granson out with a concussion. Ogletree wasn't targeted the game before despite starting, so this is an improvement. He led Indy tight ends in snaps on offense (38 of 71) and routes run (20), according to Pro Football Focus. However, Indianapolis throws few passes toward tight ends making them not viable options for most fantasy formats.
No targets despite start
Ogletree started at tight end with Kylen Granson out with a concussion and Jelani Woods still on injured reserve. He played on 42 of the offense's 70 snaps and went out on just 17 routes. Mo Alie-Cox had the only reception among tight ends in the loss as the tight ends ran few routes as they were needed as blockers against Cleveland's strong pass rush. Olgletree could be more active in the passing game next week against New Orleans, but could also get less playing time if Granson or Woods is able to return next week.
