The Jaguars cut Brewer (undisclosed) from injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Brewer was placed on injured reserve in mid-June due to an issue that hasn't yet been disclosed. The offensive lineman spent most of last season on Jacksonville's practice squad.
The Jaguars placed Brewer (undisclosed) on injured reserve Friday. Brewer suited up for one game with Jacksonville last season and looked set to reprise a similar backup role, but he'll now need to reach an injury settlement with the team for any chance of suiting up during the 2024 campaign. The nature of the depth guard's injury remain undisclosed.
In a corresponding move, it placed left tackle Cam Robinson (knee) on its injured reserve list. Brewer played in six games with the Rams in 2022, but he's likely to serve in a backup capacity for the Jaguars for now.
