Christie agreed Friday with the Clippers on a four-year, $7.9 million contract, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. The fourth year of the deal is a club option worth an estimated $2.49 million. The No. 46 overall pick in last month's 2024 NBA Draft, Christie won't turn 19 years old until later this month and is viewed as more of a long-term project from the Clippers rather than someone who's expected to be a major contributor as a rookie. During his lone collegiate season at Minnesota, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 30.0 minutes over 33 appearances while shooting 39.1 percent from three-point range.

Latest Clippers News
Cam Christie : Inks four-year deal with LA
Mo Bamba : Inks deal with Clippers
Bamba agreed to a one-year deal with the Clippers on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Bamba will join the Clippers and provide extra depth behind Ivica Zubac. The 26-year-old played for the 76ers last season, during which he averaged 4.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across a career-low 13.0 minutes in 57 regular-season games. However, Bamba did shoot a career-high 39.1 percent from deep in a limited number of attempts at 1.1 per game.
Kris Dunn : Landing with Clippers
Dunn (foot) has agreed to a contract with the Clippers, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports. The terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed, and the club is reportedly looking into the possibility of a sign-and-trade, per Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. This move also indicates that the Clippers are looking to trade Russell Westbrook at some point before the 2024-25 campaign. Dunn averaged 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 66 appearances a season ago with the Jazz and will serve as guard depth behind James Harden.
Nicolas Batum : Agrees to deal with Clippers
Batum and the Clippers agreed to a two-year, $9.6 million deal Monday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports. Batum had a strong market in free agency including some reported interest from the Spurs, but the veteran opted to return to a familiar franchise. Batum spent four seasons with the Clippers before joining the 76ers in 2023-24, and he will provide the team with some quality depth at both forward positions despite his advanced age.
James Harden : Commits to Clips for two years
Harden agreed Sunday with the Clippers on a two-year, $70 million contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Harden and the Clippers came to agreement on a new deal just minutes before NBA free agency officially began, though the contract won't become official until at least Saturday. In any case, the 34-year-old point guard is locked in for two more seasons with LA, coming off an inaugural season with the Clippers in which he averaged his fewest points per game (16.6) since 2010-11, but still posted strong marks in just about every other category (8.5 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 2.6 three-pointers, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks). With Paul George hitting the open market and not expected to return to the Clippers, Harden will likely shoulder more of the offensive load in 2024-25 alongside Kawhi Leonard (knee).
Russell Westbrook : Staying in L.A.
Westbrook exercised his $4 million player option for the 2024-25 season Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The nine-time All-Star hasn't been a regular starter in the past two seasons, but he appears to have become comfortable in his role as a lead guard off the bench. Since he would have been unlikely to fetch much more than $4 million on the open market, Westbrook will stick around for a second full season with the Clippers, coming off a 2023-24 campaign in which he averaged 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals across a career-low 22.5 minutes in 68 appearances. Westbrook's role could expand during the upcoming season if the Clippers aren't able to retain Paul George -- who is expected to decline his $48.79 million player option for 2024-25 and become an unrestricted free agent -- and don't replace him with another high-usage star.
P.J. Tucker : Staying with Clippers for 2024-25
Tucker announced Friday that he is exercising his $11.54 million player option for the 2024-25 season, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Tucker was traded from the 76ers to the Clippers during the 2023-24 campaign. With Los Angeles, Tucker made 28 appearances, including seven starts, and averaged 1.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15.0 minutes. While the veteran forward is unlikely to receive a large role for the Clippers next season, he is set to stick around for at least one more year.
Ivica Zubac : Double-doubles in playoff exit
Zubac produced 17 points (6-11 FG, 5-8 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist in 37 minutes during Friday's 114-101 loss to the Mavericks in Game 6 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. The Clippers needed someone to step up with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined in Game 6, and Ivica Zubac did what he could on both ends of the court. He finished the series with three double-doubles in six outings and scored in double digits each time while shooting a robust 60 percent from the field. Zubac isn't flashy and is not one of the most athletic big men in the league, but he gets the job done. He also averaged 11.7 points and 9.2 boards per contest during the regular season.
