Clark (Achilles) has been cleared for full-contact, 5-on-5 basketball activities, and he will participate in the Summer League. The 2023 No. 53 overall pick spent the 2023-24 season rehabbing a torn Achilles, but he will make his return to game action in the Summer League. The 22-year-old last played in 2022-23 for UCLA, during which he averaged 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1.9 assists over 30 games. However, Clark's final collegiate season was cut short due to his Achilles injury, a season in which he was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-Pac-12 Second Team.

Latest Timberwolves News
Jaylen Clark : Returns to action in Summer League
Joe Ingles : Heading to Minnesota
Ingles agreed to a one-year deal with the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Ingles spent the 2023-24 campaign in Orlando, but the Magic recently turned down his $11 million team option for the 2024-25 season. Over 68 regular-season appearances in 2023-24, he averaged 4.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 17.2 minutes per game. He should have a chance to carve out consistent minutes off the bench while serving as a veteran presence during his age-37 season.
Luka Garza : Returning to Minnesota
Garza and the Timberwolves agreed to a two-year deal Monday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports. Specifics of the deal are currently unknown, but this is likely a cap-friendly deal for the Timberwolves. Garza was used sparingly last season, appearing in 25 games with averages of 4.0 points and 1.2 rebounds. With Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid leading the frontcourt, Garza figures to be an end-of-bench depth piece again in 2024-25.
Josh Minott : Staying in Minnesota in 2024-25
Minott's $2.02 million contract for the 2024-25 season became fully guaranteed Friday, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports. Minott has logged just 47 appearances with Minnesota through his first two seasons in the professional ranks, but he's posted impressive numbers with the G League's Iowa Wolves and is still viewed as a promising developmental piece for the organization. Though the Timberwolves are keeping him in the fold for the 2024-25 campaign, Minott may not be assured a larger role during the upcoming season. Reserves Kyle Anderson, Monte Morris and Jordan McLaughlin are the lone Timberwolves rotation players from this past season scheduled for free agency, and Minnesota may have already found their replacements in first-round draft picks Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon.
Monte Morris : Non-factor in playoff run
Morris averaged 2.3 points, 1.0 assists and 0.7 rebounds across 7.6 minutes in nine playoff appearances. Morris was acquired by the Timberwolves on Feb. 7 via trade and averaged 5.1 points, 2.3 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 27 regular-season games with Minnesota. The 28-year-old is an unrestricted free agent, and he was a non-factor in the series against Dallas while dealing with a minor finger issue.
Jordan McLaughlin : Lackluster production in playoffs
McLaughlin averaged 0.7 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.3 assists across 4.8 minutes in six playoff appearances, shooting 22.2 percent from the field in a limited number of attempts. McLaughlin's future in Minnesota is unclear as he will head into the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. The 28-year-old has seen a decline in production every year since he got into the league after five seasons with the Timberwolves. McLaughlin averaged 3.5 points, 2.0 assists, 1.3 rebounds and 0.6 steals across a career-low 11.2 minutes in 56 regular-season games this season.
Kyle Anderson : Playoff woes amid uncertainty
Anderson averaged 4.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocks across 15.3 minutes in 15 playoff appearances. Anderson will be an unrestricted free agent this season, and his future in Minnesota is currently unclear. The 30-year-old averaged 6.4 points, 4.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks across 79 regular-season games, a slight decline from just a year before. However, the veteran wing could be useful for many contending teams and is bound to have several suitors this offseason.
Naz Reid : Impresses in award-winning season
Reid averaged 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.5 steals across 22.6 minutes in 16 playoff appearances. The Sixth Man of the Year award winner did not fully live up to his regular-season standards in the playoffs. However, he did have a few great games against Denver and Dallas in the postseason as the Timberwolves put together an impressive run. The 24-year-old averaged 13.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.8 steals across 24.2 minutes while appearing in 81 regular-season games. Reid will likely be a key part of the rotation next season as the Timberwolves aim for another strong playoff push in a stacked Western Conference.
