Duke will miss Sunday's Summer League game against the Kings due to an undisclosed minor injury, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports. Duke was a standout performer for the Spurs' G League affiliate last season and is slated to play with the Spurs in the 2024 Summer League, but he is currently sidelined with a minor injury. Duke is expected to join the team for Summer League in Las Vegas in the coming week.

Latest Spurs News
David Duke : Tending to minor injury
Duke will miss Sunday's Summer League game against the Kings due to an undisclosed minor injury, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports. Duke was a standout performer for the Spurs' G League affiliate last season and is slated to play with the Spurs in the 2024 Summer League, but he is currently sidelined with a minor injury. Duke is expected to join the team for Summer League in Las Vegas in the coming week.
Harrison Barnes : Traded to San Antonio
Barnes has been traded to the Spurs as part of the deal that sent DeMar DeRozan to the Kings, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Barnes spent the 2023-24 season as the starting small forward for the Kings, and he should have the same role for a rebuilding Spurs team that also added Chris Paul in free agency. Barnes averaged 10.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 71 regular-season appearances for Sacramento in 2023-24.
Jeremy Sochan : Plays for Polish national team
Sochan (ankle) averaged 18.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 three-pointers and 1.0 blocks in 29.0 minutes per game over his two appearances for the Polish national team this month in Olympic qualifying tournament games. Sochan saw extended playing time in losses to The Bahamas and Finland in group play. Though Poland has now been eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, the 21-year-old Sochan looks like he'll head into training camp at full health for the Spurs after missing the club's final eight games of the 2023-24 season due to a left ankle impingement.
Devonte' Graham : Time in San Antonio ends
The Spurs are trading Graham and a second-round pick to the Hornets on Saturday, but he is expected to be waived and become a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Graham will be traded from the Spurs after a little over a season with the club. The 29-year-old played in just 23 games last season, during which he averaged 5.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds across a career-low 13.6 minutes. Graham will now have the opportunity to seek a contract elsewhere to potentially revitalize his career.
David Duke : Becoming restricted free agent
San Antonio extended Duke a qualifying offer Sunday, Jeff Garcia of KENS 5 San Antonio reports. Duke didn't appear in a game for San Antonio last season until April despite being on a two-way contract. Still, he was a standout performer with the Spurs' G League affiliate and the Spurs will now have the option to match opposing offers.
Sandro Mamukelashvili : Becomes restricted free agent
The Spurs extended a qualifying offer to Mamukelashvili on Sunday, Jeff Garcia of KENS 5 San Antonio reports. The Spurs will have the opportunity to match opposing offers made to Mamukelashvili during free agency. The 24-year-old appeared in 46 games in 2023-24 and averaged 4.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 9.8 minutes.
Dominick Barlow : To become free agent
The Spurs did not extend a qualifying offer to Barlow (knee), making him an unrestricted free agent, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports. Despite this move by the Spurs, Wojnarowski reports that a reunion could be on the table during free agency, though Barlow will have other suitors as well. In 33 appearances last season, Barlow produced averages of 4.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 13.6 minutes. He missed the last nine games of the season with a left knee bone bruise, but there have been no reports on his progress.
Victor Wembanyama : Brings home ROY honors
Wembanyama (ankle) was named the 2023-24 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Wembanyama was the clear favorite for this year's Rookie of the Year honors, averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.6 blocks in 29.7 minutes per appearance over 71 games during his first NBA campaign. It's also worth noting that the 7-foot-4 center is one of three finalists for the 2023-24 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, which speaks to the monumental impact he had on both ends of the court this season for the Spurs.
