We are pleased to announce the appointment of Shweta Manchanda as our 'Chief Compliance and Risk Officer'. Shweta is a Chartered Accountant and MBA Finance with over 20 years of experience across multiple governance roles in Risk, Audit and Compliance. She joined Dr. Reddy's in September 2021 as Global Head of Internal Audit and SOX. Prior to joining Dr. Reddy's, Shweta served in a leading consulting firm as a Head of Internal audit function. She has worked in different industries including financial services and pharma. Workforce Skill Building through Apprentice Programs in Public-Private Mode

As part of our #40YearsOfDrReddys initiatives, our teams initiated a series of monthly ‘Impact Days’ earlier this year as a means for our colleagues to reinforce their commitment to our essence – be it visits to manufacturing sites, volunteering opportunities or a deep understanding of therapy areas and science behind key products. Our most recent Impact Day was a deep dive into cardiovascular health with employees getting an immersive and interactive experience in the functioning of the heart, the structure of the blood vessels, treatments such as angioplasty or bypass surgeries, and first-person accounts of living with cardiovascular diseases. The aim is to encourage all colleagues to understand diseases end-to-end, from symptoms to management - nuances of a disease, the science, the biology, the treatment mechanisms, the diagnostic methodologies, real-life accounts of living with the diseases and pain points. Studying a disease area in this holistic manner helps colleagues understand it from a patient’s perspective, and be motivated to work towards agile and innovative healthcare solutions, thereby living our principles of empathy and dynamism. #WeAreDrReddys #GoodHealthCantWait
