Let’s check! 👇 Branding is not just pretty logos or colours - it’s how you control your business’ perception in your audience’s minds, which can make or break your sales. As you evolve in terms of the products you sell, the markets you cater to, and the new personality you’re aiming to portray, you might need to revise your logo, fonts, colour scheme as well as non-visual elements like taglines, tone of copy (e.g. funny to mature), etc. Usually, a good time to consider this is: ⭐ When you’ve taken over a traditional business but want to revamp it to signal that you’re relevant & keeping up with the modern times or you want to expand to newer markets & capture fresh TGs with different tastes or needs ⭐ Your business model, product range & pricing have changed (e.g. become more premium), which would need to be supported with visual cues (e.g. more minimalist packaging) ⭐ You’ve gone through a long-term PR crisis, are facing stiff competition, or need to address a drop in sales, so you want to start fresh & reset people’s perceptions ⭐ You need to keep up with changing tech, design trends, user tastes & social platform specs, which currently need a minimalist, simple, non-gradient & flat 2D approach But let’s not get ahead of ourselves … because a hasty or unnecessary rebrand can be counterproductive if: ❌ 1.
