How can you simplify complex business writing?
Even within business writing there would be difference in style. Writing for a speech and writing a white- paper should have different approach. Though for both of them the basics of writing will apply like respecting the sense of Grammer. But a speech could have a more staccato and repetitive sentences. On the other hand, in a white-paper the writing should be didactic and explanatory.

How can you simplify complex business writing?
Follow the way a journalist writes her or his story in a newspaper - print or online. Answet the - what, where, who, how, when - of the story, and follow through each of the trigger precisely and logically. Formating is desirable but not steadfast or rigidly sacrosanct. But it is advisable to use short, active and simple sentences. Using visual, graphical and tabular aids, such as photographs, charts, graphs, are desirable.

How can you simplify complex business writing?
Not only business writing, but for every writing endeavour, the idea of knowing your readers is essential. Business writing is no different from any other form of writing, it is writing at the end of the day. The only difference, in my mind, is that it would be nice to use simpler and more active and direct sentences.

Without Prejudice ( a fiction )
Niyogi Books India
"Is a woman’s body her own? How far does her freedom extend? What can she do when social traditions, laws of the land and above all, prejudices of individuals, bind her down; make her a slave to her own identity and turn her into a commodity to be bought and sold? How can she turn back the tidal wave of social events set loose by the origins and consequences of various social traditions?

How can she turn back the tidal wave of social events set loose by the origins and consequences of various social traditions?
These and other questions rise in the mind of the reader who navigates the pages of the novel and follows the life of Pallavi, through her eyes and the eyes of the two men who play pivotal roles in her odyssey—Rajkumar and Roy, characters the author has lovingly sketched, as he takes the reader through a journey in time."
- Communicator, corporate reputation advisor and brand strategist, Devasis
did his graduation in commerce from Calcutta University. Thereafter, he did his post-graduate diploma in PR. Initially, he chose his career in advertising, later on he took up Public Relations as his calling.
He began writing free-lance non-fiction features just after his graduation since early 1980s, during his spare time and continued writing them in various Indian newspapers and magazines for nearly two decades. Thereafter, because of varied domestic and overseas senior executive roles and assignments, his articles became few and far between.
Devasis currently lives in Mumbai with his family. Without Prejudice is his maiden novel. -
The Middle ground called "Mentoring" ( an opinion piece)

Through this article, I want to continue discussing which we discuss always inside the Boardroom on ‘Mentoring’. I think, there is so much to be learnt from the people around you, from people in your life, family, friends and colleagues. I’ve also come to believe that in PR, mentorship is absolutely vital. 'Me-Branding' in Social Media - Why and How! ( opinion piece )
Adgully - A portal dedicated to Marketing, Advertising and Communications. Published from India
Social media is the flavour of modern times. One can do practically a lot of things by the stroke of a key. One can write, comment or pass judgment, on any subject under the sun, from salt-to-software, without any one else hindering or editing that so-called self-proclaimed journey.
