Capture potential leads and integrate them directly with your Creative Mail newsletter or Jetpack CRM.
What you need to get started
This feature works with Jetpack CRM or Creative Mail. For Newsletters powered by the Jetpack plugin and for Paid Newsletter Subscriptions, please see the Jetpack Newsletter support guide.
In order to use the Lead Capture Form, you’ll need:
- A Jetpack CRM or Creative Mail integration.
- Jetpack’s Contact Form feature must be enabled. This should be enabled by default, but if it’s not, you can enable it as described here.
- The Lead capture block is a part of the Jetpack Blocks suite. See our Jetpack Blocks article to learn about the available blocks and how to activate them.
Jetpack Blocks require the Block Editor (also referred to as the Gutenberg editor). If you’ve installed the Classic Editor plugin, you will need to switch back to the Block Editor either by:
- Deactivating the Classic Editor: Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins in your WP Admin and deactivate the Classic Editor plugin.
- Enabling both editors: If you prefer flexibility, navigate to Settings → Writing in your WP Admin. Set Allow users to switch editors to Yes.
See Using Blocks and the Classic Editor for more details.
It may happen that an editor that comes with a custom theme or plugin prevents you from using the Block Editor. In that case, please contact the respective plugin or theme author for further assistance.
Add the Lead Capture Form block
Start gathering lead information from your website’s visitors by:
- Add the Lead Capture Form by searching for
lead capture
in the block picker or typing/lead capture
directly in your post or page. See our Jetpack Blocks page for more information on adding Jetpack blocks. - Customize the form via the Block’s sidebar settings and styles options. You can also adjust the text displayed in the opt-in field.
- Decide if you want to use the Lead Capture Form with Creative Mail or Jetpack CRM, both described below.
Visitors will be able to opt-in to receiving emails from you. The feedback you receive from these forms will be saved in the Jetpack Feedback section of the wp-admin. Users who have opted-in to receiving new emails from you will have the meta field email_marketing_consent
set to 1
. You can export your feedback as a csv for later use.
Send Emails with Creative Mail
We suggest that you use Creative Mail to send your subscribers emails directly:
- Install Creative Mail with the click of a single button, right on the Lead Capture Form block settings.
- Once Creative Mail is installed, go through the onboarding process which will automatically import your subscribers so you can start building email campaigns right away.
- Creative Mail directly integrates into your WordPress so it is quite easy to send new posts and even WooCommerce products to your subscribers.

If Jetpack CRM is not already installed on your site, you can install it directly from the Lead Capture Form block settings under CRM Connection
.
