Port Barre police search for gunman after 19-year-old found shot in neck

PORT BARRE, La. (KADN) — Port Barre police said the hunt is on for the shooter who injured a young man on Wednesday. They added it happened at the corner of Saizan Avenue and Park Street around 8:45 p.m. According to investigators, officers responded to a report of shots fired and found a 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
