Tiny Green Mall Wizard also known as the Wizard Gnome is a character created by TikToker @crawly_possessed with which he dresses in a fake white beard, green robes and a white cone-shaped hat while crawling through stores in a mall. The TikToker previously went viral for the Crawling In Public trend in which he invited his followers to come crawl through a mall in Warsaw, Poland with him. The creator posted his first video as the Tiny Green Mall Wizard in late June 2024. The videos have drawn comparisons to the Me As A Baby trend from 2022.

Origin

TikToker^[1] @crawly_possessed made his first video dressed as a Tiny Green Wizard on June 27th, 2024. The video showed the TikToker waddling through a mall dressed in green robes and a white cone-shaped with a pink butterfly net. The video gathered over 11 million plays and 2 million likes in three days (seen below).

Spread

On June 28th, 2024, @crawly_possessed posted a video^[2] showing him crawling through a store in the mall and being asked to leave by the employees. The video gathered over 50 million views and 9 million likes in two days (seen below, left). On June 29th, he posted another such video,^[3] this time walking through a McDonald's, gathering over 30 million views and 5 million likes in a day (seen below, right).

The meme eventually spread to X / Twitter, as seen in a post by X^[6] user @ChiefofIsaac titled, "the ancient little wizard." The post gathered over 21 million views and 190,000 likes in three days (seen below).

Fan Art

The Tiny Green Mall Wizard also became the subject of various fan art depictions following his virality online in late June and early July 2024.

For example, on June 30th, 2024, X^[4] user @shanhorandraws posted fan art of the Tiny Green Mall Wizard, gathering over 90,000 likes on a post captioned, "obsessed with the tiny green mall wizard" (seen below, top). Also on June 30th, X^[5] user @SpaceZino5 posted pixel art about the "Ancient Little Wizard," gathering over 12,000 likes in a day (seen below, bottom).
