Yoostink's Hooters Lucina Fan Art Commissions are a collection of commissions made to various artists by a patron named Yoostink, all of which feature Fire Emblem protagonist Lucina wearing a Hooters waitress uniform.

Origin

On May 18th, 2021, Twitter users Vial Nite^[1] and Vallurite^[2] posted art pieces showing Lucina as a Hooters waitress (shown below).

Spread

Over the following weeks, many other artists posted drawings with the highly-specific scenario. This led to speculation of the commissioner's identity and copycat commissioners requesting Hooters Lucina. This led to some confusion about which fan art pieces, both of SFW and pornographic nature, was commissioned by the original person. However, Yoostink openly posted each of his commissions on Reddit since their first request.^[3]

The first artist to publically mention the username of the now-infamous commissioner was etchimune on April 7th, 2022, upon posting his own artwork^[4] (shown below).

On May 18th, 2022, Yoostink celebrated the first anniversary of Hooters Lucina fan arts by opening a Reddit thread^[5] where he invited fellow Redditors to ask him their questions on the topic. He explained that these commissions were the result of an inside joke among his group of friends dating back to 2018, at which date he technically did his first commission; that he continued to request paid commissions to various artists he liked partly as a means of supporting them; that the number of Hooters Lucina commissions he had asked for and received was over 60 at the time the thread was created; and he claimed that the Hooters uniform was not a fetish of his, although he did commission some of the lewder artworks.

While the concept of Hooters Lucina has gained a lot of appreciation online, with people even commissioning it on their own, it also became a divisive topic on the Fire Emblem-related subreddits, with many users complaining about the excessive amount of Yoostink's uploads, akin to spam in their eyes, some going as far as saying this ruined Lucina's character for them. This resulted in an agreement between Yoostink and various Reddit moderators that his subsequent Hooters Lucina posts be systematically hidden behind the NSFW filter.
