Roughly six months after it launched, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League can be yours for free under two conditions: you have an Amazon Prime subscription, and a gaming PC that can handle it. Rocksteady’s infamously maligned loot masher is one of three surprise games the company is giving away for Prime Day 2024. - Ethan Gach Read More

While everyone is eager to get their hands on the upcoming full-blown Astro Bot game, developer Team Asobi is giving us all a reason to revisit the PS5 pack-in title Astro’s Playroom in the meantime. Each month until the new game arrives, the team is placing a new Special Bot in Astro’s Playroom that fans can track down. Elden Ring’s first and only DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, has added vast numbers of new weapons, talismans and spirit ashes, reinvigorating how you approach the army of new enemies and bosses. And while those fights will always prove the game’s biggest challenge, finding so many of these new features is pretty tricky itself. But we’ve got you. - Kotaku Staff Read More

The Rakshasa Armor set is a full four-piece set of armor that can only be found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This armor set increases your damage output by up to eight percent, so it’s very much worth tracking down and wearing if your total equip load can make it work without forcing you to heavy roll. - Billy Givens Read More

Microsoft is raising the price of every tier of Xbox Game Pass starting July 10. Fortunately, you can save a good chunk of change on the most expensive tier through a current Amazon deal. Stacking a year’s worth of monthly subscriptions with this offer is $60 cheaper than paying the new price moving forward. - Ethan Gach Read More

Sure, Shadow of the Erdtree has its share of colossal pains in the ass, but even in a world where the likes of the Scadutree Avatar and Messmer exist, there’s at least a sort of begrudging fairness to them. They can be scouted and planned for. You can see the openings your enemies are giving you after you’ve taken enough L’s to them. That can even be said for what’s waiting for you at the end of the DLC. But one particular boss stubbornly resists that trend. - Justin Clark Read More

If you’re a dedicated Final Fantasy XIV player, there are two paths you can take to start your adventure in Dawntrail. On one hand, you could simply equip your main job of choice, look for the “A New World To Explore” quest in Old Sharlayan, and go straight into Dawntrail’s new zones. Alternatively, if you’re up for a grind, you could join the flock of players eager to main the new Viper and Pictomancer jobs. - Timothy Monbleau Read More

Oh no, it's Messmer, with his fucked up eye hole and snake appendages. Seriously, what chance did he ever have? Who was going to give him a job at Arby's? Slay him, sure, but pity him too.

To think, the Shadow Keep seemed to be going so well, and then you run into a vicious, fiery, reptilian wall. Messmer is just an absolute unholy nightmare of unorthodox timing, neverending combos, health-sapping flames, and massive one-shot explosions. All that’s before the giant snakes start getting involved. Even with our guide, you’re in for a hell of a time trying to take down Messmer the Impaler, but we’re gonna give you all the tools you need to chew up Big Red and spit him out. - Justin Clark Read More

In the first major zone of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, you’ll encounter your first sidequest with a branching outcome. You’ll (most likely) first see Apsaras, surrounded by demons kneeling before her. According to her, she wants to protect these demons by forcing them to acknowledge their weaknesses and seek protection from her circle of gods. Meanwhile, Leanan Sidhe wishes to enrich the lives of weaker demons and help them realize their dreams, even if it winds up cutting their lives short. - Timothy Monbleau Read More

Disney Dreamlight Valley is overflowing with beloved Disney characters, and while some are from more recent film outings, many have been adored by fans for decades prior to their arrival to the valley. Two of the newest additions to the game fall in the latter category, hailing from 1998's hit animated film Mulan. Indeed, the titular character and her hilarious sidekick, Mushu, are ready to join your valley whenever you’re ready to open their realm and invite them. - Billy Givens Read More
