I wasn’t as wowed by this as I was hoping but it’s still very solid. The payoff just wasn’t as shocking as I wanted and seemed to go for a cop out after such terrific buildup. The tension was gripping throughout and the eventual gory carnage was a pure delight to see, however. Glad it’s getting such a wide release for a small film like this!
