A triumph on every level and the new bar for modern major filmmaking. Stunning production design by Patrice Vermette and cinematography by Greig Fraser delight the senses, but the true star is the well constructed, thoughtful, and (true to the source material) deeply weird script. Denis didn’t shy from anything, especially Herbert’s key theme - a warning of the dangers of charismatic leaders.

Coupled with this story, the actors step up and deliver career defining performances. As we said in our very first episode, we had impossible expectations, and they were exceeded.
