you’d think a film with about half an hour of studio logos would have enough funding to pay some artists instead of resorting to shitty ai art for it’s cutaway graphics. i’m not gonna give it a half star or anything but i’m definitely knocking some points off in my head. it’s a shame because there’s so much genuine human artistry at work here that really, really works for me. for the most part i loved it - i was thoroughly engaged and was actually scared which isn’t so common for me anymore (and i LOVED the ending) but unfortunately, this could be the start of studios regularly resorting to ai because they don’t want to lose a few pennies. and to those thinking that it’s a small inconsequential graphic that shows up for a few seconds - it’s not inconsequential. it’s something that’s contributing to what could, and likely will, become a much larger problem. for anyone interested, without this bullshit in the movie i’d happily give it a strong 7. absolutely fuck ai. (i saw this for free btw, would never give my money to this)
