This is exactly what the horror genre needed.

The 70’s backdrop and TV show setting brings this stylish film alive with something that a lot of modern horror’s lack.

TENSION.

I’m so happy to see David Dastmalchian in a leading role because he was the perfect casting choice for this. The whole cast actually really impressed me.

The final 15 minutes of this is definitely the stand out though.

A long exposition dump at the beginning of the film however didn’t really do it any favours. Exposition is my kryptonite and it felt useless to add in.

Also AI generated images?!?!?! What are we doing here, such a joke. People will say it’s only a small detail but this might well be the start of a steep descent into the regular use of these. So poor. It’s plain and simply WRONG.
