Let's be honest: your TV's built-in speakers are probably not great. As TVs get slimmer, so do their speakers, and when it comes to sound quality, that might not be awesome. Instead of getting by with subpar sound, upgrade your entertainment setup thanks to today's deal at Amazon.

As of June 13, the Bose TV Speaker soundbar is just $199, marked down from the usual price of $279. That's an $80 savings or a discount of 29%. This sale price matches the lowest we've ever seen at Amazon.

With a compact design, the Bose TV Speaker soundbar aims to turn your home's entertainment system into something more substantial. The Bose speaker uses two angled full-range drivers to create a better overall sound experience, with an emphasis on clarity for vocals.

If you're hesitant to complicate your TV setup, have no fear. Bose made the process simple to connect the soundbar to your TV via either an HDMI cable or the included optical audio cable. After that initial setup, the Bose soundbar will automatically turn on with your TV and you can control the volume through your current TV remote. You can also pair the soundbar via Bluetooth to other devices for steaming music or podcasts.

While it adds serious sound, it doesn't add serious bulk to your entertainment center. The soundbar measures just a bit over two inches in height and about two feet of width.

Rather than accepting your TV speaker are kind of lame, upgrade to the Bose TV Speaker soundbar for under $200 and stream your summer shows with much better sound.
